Rent Our Space
We love that our shop has become a place people want to gather — and we're happy to share it! Whether you're planning a birthday, a workshop, a team celebration or something in between, here's what you need to know about renting our space.
After-Hours Rentals
All after-hours rentals begin one hour after our shop closes for the day, to give our team time to wrap up and get the space ready for you.
Our rental rate is $75 + HST per hour, and that includes:
- One staff member on site for the duration of your event
- Unlimited coffee and tea service
- Full access to our dining area, patio, and two washrooms (one with a change table)
- Fridge space if needed
- A Bluetooth speaker for your tunes
You're welcome to rearrange furniture and decor within reason to make the space work for your event. Our indoor capacity is up to 28 guests.
Please note that we ask you to include your set-up and tear-down time in your rental hours, as our staff is only scheduled for the time booked.
Booking & Payment
A 30% deposit is required to secure your date — until we have the deposit, the date is considered available. Deposits can be made via e-transfer or credit card. The remaining balance is due by the end of your event.
A rental agreement will need to be signed by all parties before the event. Please note that the signing party is responsible on behalf of their organization, not just as an individual.
Catering
If you'd like food at your event, you have two options: you're welcome to bring in outside food, or we can arrange catering through our kitchen.
For catering, take a look at our catering menu and let us know the rough number of guests and what you'd like to spend per person — Amanda, our head chef, will take it from there. We can also arrange non-alcoholic punch or other beverage options beyond the included coffee and tea.
Important Things to Know
We are a nut-free facility. No nuts of any kind may be brought into the building — this includes any outside food. Seeds are fine. It's the renter's responsibility to make sure everyone attending is aware and in compliance.
Alcohol requires a Special Occasion Permit. If you'd like to serve alcohol at your event, you'll need to obtain an SOP and provide us with a copy at least 7 days before the event.
Our space has security cameras and motion detectors that are active during rentals. Footage is never used publicly and exists exclusively for the safety and protection of our staff, our space, and your attendees.
Daytime Rentals (Monday & Tuesday)
We have limited availability for daytime rentals on Mondays and Tuesdays, which can work well for team meetings, company events, or workshops. Availability depends on staffing, so please reach out and we can let you know what's possible.
